The 2026 Estelle Dickson Scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, was presented to Grace Pekar during our June 7 worship service.
Grace was baptized in our church and has been an active member of the congregation throughout her life. From an early age, she has been deeply involved in the life of the church, serving as a Sunday school teacher, participating in Christmas pageants, youth activities, and choir, and generously sharing her musical talents through her beautiful French horn performances and singing.
During her high school years, Grace was active in soccer and other sports while also earning numerous honors. Her accomplishments include receiving the Director's Band Award, the CAS Arts Award, and induction into the Tri-M Music Honor Society. She also enjoys working part-time at a boutique in Clinton.
This fall, Grace will attend Ithaca College, where she plans to pursue a degree in music.
