What should I expect on Sunday?
Church services start at 10:00am and usually last till 11:00am.
CCEH has a large parking lot on Main street between the church and the Post Office. Entrance can be aquired by following the sidewalk to the front of the building, up the front staircase to the large front doors. Handicap accessability is available by lift or ramp. The lower level door nearest the street, will grant access to the lift through the hall. The ramp is located on the side of the building closest to Center Elementary School. Once at the top of the ramp follow the hallway to the right and there will be another short ramp up to the sanctuary.
Bathrooms are located on the lower level near the hall.

Will I have to introduce myself?
You can expect a warm greeting from members of our congregation, but don’t fret! You won’t be asked to stand up and introduce yourself. Nor, will you be asked to walk down the aisle and speak to everyone. We have a "Passing of the Peace" section in the middle of our service each Sunday. Everyone is encouraged to participate as they feel comfortable, a handshake, fist bump, elbow tap or wave".
There is time after the worship service to get acquainted with others in our Fellowship Hall on the lower level with coffee and treats if you choose to attend.
What can I expect with the style of worship and music?
The service is a traditional protestant service that lasts about 1 hour. You will receive a Sunday bulletin by our greeters when you enter the church. The bulletin will outline the whole service and include news and events of the church . We start our service with prelude music and lighting of the candles followed by a welcome and announcements. Call to worship and unison prayers are printed in the Sunday bulletin. Typically there are 2-3 unison songs in the service, a scripture reading from the Bible, a sermon, a time of prayer, and special music by our choir. The music is a mix of traditional and modern music; you don't have to sing if you don't want to.
Do I have to be a member to receive communion?
Communiion is served once a month on the first Sunday. Gluten free options are available in baggies on the serving trays. We welcome all to an open table with no exceptions! All who attend church regardle religious or spiritual tradition from the youngest to the oldest are welcome at Jesus's table.

Do you offer child care or Sunday school?
We encourage families to attend together. We welcome the sounds of wiggles, giggles, and joyful outbursts! We have toys, games,blankets and coloring options available by the front doors if children want to stay in worship. We have a nursey available on the sanctuary level for changing diapers or needed time out for children, however, it is not manned with daycare providers at this time. We have one-room classrooms for children preschool through high School age from September through June. Our classrooms are manned by volunteers.
What if I have more questions?
Every Sunday there are greeters passing out bulletins that can assist with any questions. Or, anyone with a yellow lanyard noting church eadership, the pastor or a smile will be happy to assist you.
